Compress a video

Too big to attach to an email or send in a chat? Make it smaller so it fits a target size.

Steps

1. Open “Compress a video” and drop your video (MP4, MOV, VOB…).
2. Pick a target size (25 MB for email attachments) or type your own.
3. Press “Make”. If it comes out over the target, it is made again, smaller, on its own.
4. Check the result and “Save to device”.

Questions

How much quality is lost?

The picture size and quality are chosen to fit the target. The longer the video and the smaller the target, the rougher it gets.

What if I do not want to shrink it?

Orihako Send passes a large video on as it is, without shrinking. You can send it straight from the compress screen.

Is my video uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, on your computer. No install, no account.
