Which file on the DVD should I open?

“VTS_01_1.VOB”, “VTS_01_2.VOB” and so on in the VIDEO_TS folder. They are split at about 1 GB each. Select the whole folder: only the video parts are converted, one after another, in disc order.

Is my video uploaded?

No. Converting, editing and saving all happen in your browser, on your computer.

How long does converting take?

It depends on your computer; roughly half to the full length of the video. The first time, a converter of about 33 MB is downloaded.

Can I watch the MP4 on my phone?

Yes. MP4 plays on iPhone, Android and almost every video player.

Steps

Put the DVD in your computer and find “VTS_01_1.VOB” and similar files in the VIDEO_TS folder (the large ones are the main video).
Drop the VOB file into Stream’s Trim view and press “Convert and open”. Progress and time left are shown.
Use the scene pictures, “Next scene” and markers to find what you want to keep; set the start and end to the millisecond.
Choose “Join into one” or “Save separately”, then save as the original VOB or as MP4.
