Questions
- Is nothing really sent?
- Opening, editing and saving all happen in this browser on this computer. Once the page is open you can disconnect from the internet and still trim and save (AI parts such as transcription, and the converter for old formats, are fetched the first time you use them).
- Is it slow?
- With no upload or download, it is often quicker. Export speed depends on your computer.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. Long videos and large files are more comfortable on a computer.
- When is installed software the better choice?
- For detailed compositing or special effects, installed software suits you better. For the everyday jobs – trim, join, convert, compress – done right away and without sending anything, Stream is the quick way.
